GeekVape Aegis Solo 3 Box Mod
The GeekVape Aegis Solo 3 Box Mod is the ultimate companion for fearless adventurers who seek to conquer the unknown. Imbued with the IP68 Tri-proof technology, it is resistant to water, dust, and drops. Boasting a revolutionary smart lock that automatically detects your hand, it will be unlocked only while you're using it and automatically locked when carrying it in your pocket, helping to prevent accidental button presses.
With wattage adjustment between 5W-100W, the Solo 3 is suitable for a wide variety of tanks but is an especially great match with the GeekVape Z Tank, which will automatically detect the appropriate wattage for your coil when running in Smart Mode, which is one of five different modes available on the device. This mode will also work with other tanks but will be most accurate when paired with the GeekVape Z Tank. If this is your first mod, choosing Smart Mode is a great mode to start in.
The second mode, Power Mode, is your basic wattage adjustment, allowing you to adjust the wattage without any restrictions. The third mode, Memory Mode, allows you to save up to five of your favourite settings, including power output, puff count, and colour theme, all in one convenient place. The fifth mode, Eco Mode, intelligently manages your battery usage, extending it for longer time between charges.
The sixth and final mode, TC-TCR, is a temperature-controlled mode generally designed to be used with stainless steel, nickel, or titanium wire coils. Most coils available are Kanthal wire, so stick with one of the other modes unless you have one of these other types of coils and know the TCR value of the coils you are using.
To switch modes, quickly press the fire button 3 times to bring up the full menu and select "Modes". This menu is also where you can clear the puff counter, adjust screen brightness and colours, and change the locking mode between using the intelligent touch lock, locked, or fully unlocked. To turn the device on or off, quickly press the fire 5 times.
The GeekVape Aegis Solo 3 requires an external 18650 battery (sold separately), however, the battery can still be charged by plugging the device in with the included USB-C cable. External battery mods like the Solo 3 give you the option of replacing the battery or carrying a second charged battery with you. If you carry a spare battery with you, make sure you have a battery case to safely store your battery in. You can also remove the battery to charge it more efficiently by using an external battery charger.
